Grow your own Lion’s Mane with our premium Lion’s Mane liquid culture. Hericium erinaceus produces cascading white spines that resemble a lion’s mane. With a mild, seafood-like flavour and unique texture, it’s a favourite amount chefs and those who are looking to add more mindfulness to their lives.
This culture is lab-prepared under sterile conditions and suspended in a nutrient-rich solution, perfect for indoor cultivation on supplemented substrates. A great choice for beginners and experienced growers focused on both nutrition and wellness.

How to Use:

Shake Before Use
Gently shake the syringe to evenly distribute the mycelium throughout the liquid. -
Work Sterile
Ensure a clean work environment. Use a still air box or laminar flow hood, and sanitize all surfaces, tools, and gloves with 70% isopropyl alcohol. -
Inoculate Substrate
Inject 1–2 ml of liquid culture into your sterile substrate. Lion’s Mane thrives on hardwood or supplemented sawdust. Use a sterile needle and injection port for best results. -
Incubate
Keep inoculated containers in the dark at 20–24°C (68–75°F). Colonization typically takes 2–3 weeks. Lion’s Mane mycelium is fast-growing and fluffy and is known to fruit before full colonization. -
Introduce to Fruiting Conditions
Move to a fruiting chamber with high humidity, fresh air exchange, and indirect light. Lion’s Mane prefers cooler temps (16–21°C / 60–70°F). Avoid direct misting, the pins are delicate.
Store under 5°C. Refrigerate.
Use within 3 months for best results
Note on Packaging:
You may receive a “Beta Label” that lists Dextrose. We’ve since swapped to an Extra Light Malt Extract (ELME) formula for superior and more consistent mycelial growth. We are simply using up our remaining label stock to reduce waste!
